Special Features
- Turned-up outer finger edges guide the running filament into the roller grooves
- Length of measuring head approx. 59 mm
- Hand-held unit with small, V-grooved guide rollers, ball-bearing mounted
- Tension meter model DTEX is calibrated using only PA monofilament!
- Calibration to customer supplied material is available
- The design is otherwise according to model DTMB respectively model DTMX, but no material thickness compensator

Dimension of the measuring head
Calibration to customized material:
If process material differs significantly from the SCHMIDT calibration material in diameter, rigidity or shape, special calibration using customer supplied samples is recommended. For this purpose a material sample of about 5 m should be supplied.
